Michael Page is looking for Interim Chief Accountants for future assignments.

Job description
Content of the position, together with his/her team :

Ensure the respect of local legal, corporate and US GAAP regulations, timely and accurately performed payments, follow up on balance sheet, documentation of all open items, SOX control, ...

Team coordination:

Manage the accounting team
Coordinate the team response to ad hoc information requests
Monitor working time of the team
Process Performance Management Review
Participate in the hiring process for the team

Diverse :

Support Audit teams for accounting related maters
Support process improvements
Assist the Manager Accounting & Consolidation with budget and forecast processes

Who we are looking for
At least a 5-year experience in accounting and reporting
Bachelor/master degree in Accounting or equivalent (preferably post graduate).
Strong IT skills, knowledge of a ERP
Knowledge of IFRS, SOX, US GAAP and Legal GAAP
Good communications skills
Good leadership and negotiation skills
Result oriented
Experience in people management
Fluency in English French and Dutch. Knowledge of any other European language is considered as a plus.
