About our client
Michael Page International is continuously looking for senior accountants willing to work on a temporary basis for assignments from one day to one year or more (a permanent contract is sometimes possible after the interim period).

Job description
The Senior Accountant, often reporting to the Finance & Accounting Manager, will mainly have the following tasks:
Follow-up of balance sheet accounts including general provisions
Follow-up of the analytical presentation of the profit and loss accounts
Follow-up of the monthly closing
Support to Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable,
VAT
Preparation of the tax declaration
Depending on the needs of our client, we would each time review the specific jobdescription with you before we introduce your application for a possible appointment.

Who we are looking for
Background in accounting
At least 3years working experience within an Accounting/Finance Department
Good computer skills
Good communications skills, hands-on, assertive, stress resistant and flexible
Strong analytical mind
Well organised, detail oriented
Team player but also able to work independently and accurately
Able to prioritize and deal with deadline pressure
Assertive and diplomatic
Fluent in English, French or Dutch
