Our international client is active in the telecommunication sector. In order to develop their business, they are looking for a JUNIOR FINANCIAL CONTROLLER.

Job description
The objective of the financial controlling function is to take the full responsibility of the financial information of the business unit within the company.

The financial controller will both work on CAPEX and OPEX and will consider all aspects of them (monthly closing, budget and YEE).

As a Financial Controller you will be co-responsible for the financial figures of the business unit. You will assume complete, timely and qualitative reporting.

Key accountabilities :

- Be an important point of contact on financial and relevant operational figures for the business unit
- Be an important sparring partner for the business controllers and the financial management on financial and operational matters
- Monitor all aspects of the financial figures: actuals, budget and year end estimates
- Support the management in determining where costs are generated and in determining which activities should be made less expensive
- Manage / coordinate the OPEX and CAPEX analysis and value added controlling (actuals, budget, YEE)
- Analyze on an ad-hoc basis all relevant financial matters
- Take responsibility of the reporting of the CAPEX and OPEX figures of the business unit
- Perfom variance analyses on actuals versus budget

Who we are looking for
- Between 2 to 3 years experience in finance/controlling/accounting as Senior Accountant/Financial Analyst/Auditor big4
- University degree
- languages: company language is English. Knowledge of Dutch & French is appreciated
- Dynamic, hands-on, entrepreneur, transparent, customer focused.
