Our client is an industrial company who is active on a worldwide scale with its European headquarters in East Flanders.

Job description
For our client, we are looking for European Corporate Tax Analyst. As European Tax Analyst, you will be charged with the following task package:

- take the lead in the tax supervision and compliance process for the major European, Middle Eastern and African region clients. Our client has entities in, amongst others,Belgium, UK, Spain, Germany, Russia, Turkey and UAE.
- maintain transfer pricing calculation and documentation up to date and in compliance with the regulation.
- Provide tax information on the European group entities to the group.
- Support local controllers on tax declarations and compliance topics.
- Anticipate tax changes and make sure processes are compliant with European guidelines.
- Forecasting and improving tax management.
- Provide assistance with tax audits and ruling cases.
- VAT will be an important part of your task package as well,

You will be working closely the group tax departments in both the UK and USA. You will report directly to the European Finance Director, and to the WW Tax Manager. Frequent travels within the EMEA countries will be required.

Who we are looking for
We are looking for a candidate with a master degree in economics/finance and a minimum of 4-5 years experience as tax manager in an international environment.

You have operational experience with European Transfer Pricing, International Corporate Tax and VAT.

You have excellent analytical skills that allow you to identify concerns and suggest solutions. You report these concerns and solutions in a clear way to the management. You are able to tackle problems without precedence. You can select the correct solutions considering tax circumstances, governmental regulations and business constrains.
