Our client is a major international Industrial Group in Wallonia.

Job description
We are looking for an exceptional individual to manage and develop the marketing organization. The successful candidate will pro-actively help define and meet business targets. Reporting to the General Manager and working closely with the Sales Director, he or she will be responsible for the worldwide marketing strategy and its implementation, together with the concerned departments of the Company (R&D, Sales, Engineering,...). The role also involves business development and close relationship with customer's Material and Programmes Authorities.

Your main responsibilities will be to develop a marketing strategy and lead all the marketing activities including :

- Market management and market analysis in order to actively contribute to the definition of the expansion strategy of the company, identify with marketing areas for new product development
- Business development regarding market opportunities both internally and with partners
- Product management : manage on-going product development, initiate development programs to improve existing products, evaluate technical feasibility of potential products with the Research & Development team and the Sales team
- Market communication and support to sales : technical and marketing tools, range development and preparation of international trade fairs
- Manage, lead and develop the marketing team (20 people) :
o People management.
o Standardization of processes based on best practices.
o Reporting and follow-up of performances

Who we are looking for
The ideal candidate has :

MBA or Marketing and/or an Engineering degree.
10 - 15 years of marketing experience in multiple marketing functions and in the technical industry.
Ideally, the candidate should have experience from both marketing and business development with international exposure.
Experience in people management.
French and English is an absolute requirement. (Other European languages are an advantage)
