Job description
As part of Management Consulting, the Strategy business line operates across industries, helping Banking & Insurance top-executives to focus on key business problems related to corporate strategy, growth & innovation and operational strategy, and that affect the growth and profitability of their company.

As Manager, you will be responsible for the timely delivery of actionable, value creating solutions and strategies; interacting directly with C-level executives in order to help them run high performing businesses. Your responsabilities will include :

* Ownership for key projects (or project deliverables), including responsibility for project financials, operations and people matters
* Client relationship management up to the C-level
* Coaching of junior team members and fostering an active learning environment;
* Assist in growing the strategy practice by identifying new opportunities to Partner with clients on strategic topics
* Development of new business opportunities
* Active participation in the expert networks to develop thought-capital
* Expanding the practice's in-depth expertise in the Banking & Insurance sectors
* Assist in growing the strategy practice by identifying and executing business development opportunities.

Who we are looking for
Our client is looking for outstanding individuals with deep strategy or industry expertise and a strong analytical and conceptual mind with demonstrated leadership qualities. Usually leading small teams, we expect managers to be role models for the other team members in terms of mastery of industry and/or functional skills, client relationship building and business acumen.

Strategy Consulting Managers are self-directed with a can do attitude, ready to analyze, structure and solve complex problems. Moreover, you have the talent to communicate and discuss these within your team and in front of the client. On top, you are eager to explore a continuous and steep learning curve, and are able to build a strategic visioning and value agenda.

To be eligible for this position, you must demonstrate :
* University degree from a leading University, complemented by an economical or business degree (MBA, Postgraduate) with outstanding academic track record
* Minimum 5 to 9 years of experience in a Strategy consulting firm or similar experience in financial services
* Outstanding quantitative and analytical skills
* Proficient conceptual and creative problem solver
* Proven entrepreneurial skills
* Eagerness to grow and distinguish oneself
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills - team player
* Maturity, relationship building skills and commercial spirit
* Demonstrated leadership qualities
* Strong business acumen
* Effective communication in Dutch, French and English
