About our client
My client is an international company which provides international express services. They are currently looking for an IT Manager to join the local IT team.

Job description
As an IT Manager, you will be responsible of IT services, project management and automated supply chain solutions.

As part of your responsibilities :
- You will manage your team, motivate and train them, in order to provide services of superior quality
- You will keep the applications functional and will define tests to check if they work.
- In agreement with the Operations and General Management, you will manage the development plans within your team. You will have to prioritize projects and to assign tasks to your team.
- You will make sure that projects will be led in line with the methodology of the company.
- You will manage the day-to-day IT activities (internal and external).
- You will also have to analyze source and content of data.
- You will participate in certain aspects of user and customer consulting (about business requirements, system analysis, system designs…)
- You will carry out the existing applications and will modify them, if you need. You will write the new programs, by using the standard procedures.

Who we are looking for
The ideal candidate :

- has at least 5 years experience in :
o AS400 (RPG3/4)
o DB2 database design and technology, embedded SQL, stored procedures
o Windows environments (NT and XP) and Microsoft Office products
o Networking basics

- Knowledge of any of the following are a plus :
o Middleware (ex : Websphere, Business Object…)
o Lotus Domino and Lotus Notes (Mail) environment
o Knowledge about EDI and other electronic communication means
o Project methodology (SDM, Prince 2…)
o Experience in Automated Warehouse Management and Supply Chain

- Have project and change management skills but is also hands-on professional
- Is flexible and stress resistant
- Is solutions-minded
- Has a good level in French, Dutch and English
