Job description

Purpose of the job :

Reporting to the VP Commercial Controller, you will drive efficiency and profitability improvements in the sales and distribution organisation by supporting the sales company controllers community in their financial and administrative management tasks and by supporting the transformation to vertical profitability steering

The main areas of responsibility are the following :

- Ensure effective performance management practices regarding distribution operations.
- Support line management to further improve the efficiency and profitability of distribution operations.
- Drive efficiency and synergy initiatives in the financial-administrative function.
- Provide business analysis, management reporting and management decision support.
- Evaluate investment proposals.
- Ensure adequate communication and support to sales company controllers.
- Provide guidance and support to the sales company controllers' core team in issue like, like capital expenditure budgeting, cost management, financial forecasting, hedging, reporting development and transfer pricing.
- Provide corporate governance as board member for selected sales companies.
- Further develop and improve the company Financial Services concept.
- Support the transformation process towards a vertical profit driven organisation.
- Potentially act as project manager or steering group member for selected initiatives.

Who we are looking for

Education : Degree in business, controlling, or equivalent

Professional experience : Between 6 to 10 years of relevant working experience as Senior Controller within a business driven international company.
