Our client is an international services firm providing software development, marketing and back-end administrative services to a number of leading online companies.

We are looking for an experienced Java/J2EE Developer. This is a great opportunity to join a growing, expanding, progressive company.

Job description
The person in this position will be in charge of developing large scalable and high performing internet business applications with a high degree of quality. This will include design of software components, developing test cases and application support.

Through the use of a broad range of technologies, he will be responsible for working with other developers to solve complex business problems. Duties include conferring with business analysts and internal clients to define and analyze needs, identify risks and alternatives, and propose solutions.

Who we are looking for
The skills required are the following:

" Degree in either Computer Science or any related Engineering discipline
" Perfect fluency in both French and Dutch
" 5+ years development experience in J2EE environment
" Extensive understanding & experience using frameworks such as Spring or Struts
" Extensive skills in building Web based applications
" Extensive experience to multi-threaded Java-based application development
" Extensive understanding & experience using design patterns
" Extensive understanding & experience using SOA and webservices
" Good Knowledge of UML and modeling
" Thorough in-depth knowledge of design and analysis methodology & application development processes
" Experience with Tomcat Servlet Engine and BEA Weblogic App Server V.8.1 or higher
" Experience with Database development (T-SQL)
" Knowledge of the Unix, Linux, Windows operating systems
" Knowledge of database architecture and design principles
" Detail oriented with good organizational skills
" Ability to work in a fast paced and dynamic team environment
" Ability to handle escalated customer support issues
" Proven ability to meet deadlines and take initiative
" Strong analytical and problem solving skills
" Good communication skills
