About Our Client

Our client is an international Property and Construction group, publicly listed on the NYSE.

Job Description

  • Point of contact for external auditors and Tax consultants
  • Sparring partner for Business Controlling team in their application of Accounting principles
  • Review monthly closings and research solutions for complex accounting issues
  • Ensure compliance with internal Group policies and best practices, and assist with SOX compliance initiative
  • Review monthly payroll calculations and payments + supervise Balance Sheet positions
  • Ad-hoc projects : future implementation of new IT tools, process improvement, etc

The Successful Applicant

  • Bachelor in Accounting or Finance (a Master's degree in Finance/Business Administration is an important asset)
  • Fluency in English and good command of Dutch OR French are mandatory
  • A career start in a BIG 4 environment (either accountancy, consultancy, or external audit) is an important asset, especially on projects related to Real Estate / Property Management clients
  • Good command of BEGAAP is mandatory, command of USGAAP is a non-mandatory asset
  • A first experience in the Construction / Property Management / Engineering sector is an asset
