My client is an international company active in the production & transformation of metal products for clients from various sectors such as transport, infrastructure, energy, telecom, public lighting, etc.
The sales entity in Belgium has a "SME way of working" for more than 10 years with recently impressive growths.
To support the growth my client is looking for a sales profile to manage existing customers & keep on developing new ones.

As Account Manager your main responsibilities will be to:
- Develop new customers (hunting) in various sectors (energy, infrastructure, public, institutions, telecom, etc.)
- Manage & maintain long-term relationship with your existing customers (farming)
- Manage the sales cycle from A to Z - the length of the sales cycle will depend on the size of the projects (up to 1,5 - 2 years)
- Be involved in tenders & develop appropriate quotation
- Identify up & cross-selling opportunities
- Identify new project opportunities within your market
- Deeply understand the needs of your clients
- Develop the appropriate solution/product together with internal technical team
- Host & attend targeted networking events
- Participate in trade fairs
- Analyze your market to acquire a deep knowledge of it
- Implement follow up through the CRM tool & manage reports

The successful profile will have the following qualities:
- At least 5 years of experience in B2B sales - within a technical environment is a great asset
- Both hunting & farming mindset
- Fluent in Dutch, French since you will be the only one to manage BeLux market
- Excellent knowledge in English to develop project with technical team (English-speaking team)
- Adaptive mindset since you will evolve in a fast-paced market with evolutive products
- Ability to be in contact with various customers (public sector, politicians, private sector, energy, telecom, etc…)
- Autonomous, pro-active, entrepreneur
- Strategic, analytical, operational mindset
- Ambitious - you will get more responsibilities on a mid-term basis
