As Area Sales manager you will be responsible to expand my client's solutions across the BeNeLux. You will be responsible for creating and executing a regional go to market strategy, including directly targeting the Global 2000 firms and establishing a reseller network for the mid-market, to ensure these customers benefit from my customer products to the fullest extend.
Tasks and responsibilities:
- Drive the commercial relationship with each Global 2000 customer in Belgium, the Netherlands and Luxembourg
- Drive relationships with new and existing local partners
- Create joint business plans with each partner, and ensure they are executed successfully
- Own the revenue number for both sell trough, and sell to the partners and their customers
- Report to the Sales Director Western Europe, often working with Marketing and operations on scalable and efficient fulfillment
The Successful Applicant
Skills and experience:
- At least 5 years of experience in a sales function preferably in Internet Security systems
- Deep understanding and experience in vendor and channel sales models, levers and rewards for hi-tech software, hardware and service offerings
- Track record of over achievement in selling, in both direct sales and through technology partnerships
- Comfortable having both business and high level technical conversations with a CTO, CIO, CISO for a global company
- Good understanting of the IT security marketplace
- Trilingual French, Dutch and English
