Job Description

Business Controller - FMCG - BrusselsAs a Business Controller, you will report to the Controlling Manager and will play a key role within the Benelux Finance team, contributing to financial planning, analysis and business partnering activities.

Your main responsibilities :

  • Contribute to monthly reporting, forecasting and budgeting for the Benelux perimeter
  • Provide financial analyses and insights during business reviews with Sales and Marketing
  • Monitor customer conditions, challenge costs and ensure accurate financial implications in ERP systems
  • Act as a business partner by analysing performance, challenging assumptions and identifying value‑creation opportunities
  • Track key business drivers (sell‑in, sell‑out, trade stocks) and optimize trade spend efficiency
  • Build financial models to assess new initiatives, evaluate risks/opportunities and support strategic decisions
  • Ensure data accuracy across BI tools, collaborate with IT and train internal stakeholders
  • Support process optimization and explore automation opportunities across finance workflows.

The Successful Applicant

Business Controller - FMCG - Brussels

  • Master's degree in Finance / Business Administration / Management
  • Around 2-4 years of financial experience in External Audit and/or Business Controlling (FMCG experience is a plus)
  • Strong analytical mindset with the ability to combine strategic thinking and attention to detail
  • Solid understanding of P&L and balance sheet impacts of business decisions
  • Fluency in English & French. Dutch is an asset
  • Excellent command of Excel; knowledge of Qlik, Power BI or Navision is an asset
  • Ability to learn quickly and leverage technology to improve processes.
