About Our Client

Our client is an industrial company part of an international group.In order to support their development, we are currently looking for a Business Controller who will act as a Finance Business Partner for the Project Managers.Their offices are located in the Flemish Brabant (North).

Job Description

As a Business Controller you are part of the Finance team and report directly to the Finance Manager. You are the financial point of contact between the headquarters and the field.Your main tasks consist in :

  • Setting up the projects from a financial perspective
  • Doing the daily financial monitoring of the projects during their whole life cycle
  • Acting as a real Finance Business Partners for the different stakeholders (Project Managers, Sales, …)
  • Preparing the budgets and forecasts
  • Participating to the monthly closings and performing the variances analyzes
  • Working closely with the accounting team
  • Participating to the continuous improvement of processes and systems
  • Visiting the different sites where the projects are located.

The Successful Applicant

  • Master's degree in Finance / Business Administration
  • Minimum 3 years of financial experience in Controlling and or Audit
  • Experience in a Big 4 is a plus
  • Good practical knowledge of Dutch, French and English
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Analytical profile with a critical mindset
  • Team player.
