The Business Controller will directly work with the CFO and the different managers of departments.

Job Description

The Business Controller will be the internally & externally point of contact for every financial activity.

The main responsibilities include:

  • The development and management of annual budget in collaboration with the CEO and CFO
  • The production of monthly reporting towards the management and the investors
  • The variance analysis with explanation, recommendation, and challenge of the business
  • The development and management of KPI's to monitor and challenge the activities
  • The management, development, improvement and implementation of (current) financial processes and tools
  • The management of internal control

The Successful Applicant

Within the Services company, the Business Controller will act as real Business partner, have an operation and support role.

Directly reporting to the CFO, the Business Controller shows:

  • Master's degree in Finance / Economics / Business Management
  • At least 6 years of relevant experience (ie. Audit, financial controlling, business controlling, finance management)
  • Experience in the Services, Law or Insurance sector is a plus
  • Excellent command of French and intermediate level of Dutch and English
  • Good command of financial tools and Excel
  • Rigorous and self-driven
  • Good communication and easy / outgoing - not afraid to go out of the comfort zone
