Our client is a Belgian manufacturer. They are a household name within their sector, on an international level. To establish a solid foundation for the future, they are investing in a commercial excellence program. They are currently looking for an experienced Commercial Excellence Manager.

Job Description

As a Commercial Excellence Manager you take on the role of an "internal consultant" and you have following key responsiblities:

  • Together with the international sales teams and the general management of each division, you define which markets and which segments to be targeted.
  • You analyse the as is situation versus the desired outcome, linked to concrete actions.
  • You establish a go-to-market strategy and account plans per customer.
  • You are in charge of a streamlined approach between all divisions.
  • You establish a close and constructive collaboration with local sales teams.
  • You present your findings and linked actions to the leadership teams globally and over all divisions.

The Successful Applicant

As a Commercial Excellence Manager, you check following boxes:

  • You have a master's degree.
  • You have at least five years of experience in one of following roles: commercial excellence manager, sales manager in industrial B2B, management consultant (focus on sales & marketingà combined with at least one commercial experience.
  • Working in a complex, international matrix environment excites you.
  • You have experience with people management/influencing.
  • You combine strategic commercial insight with analytical and operational skills.
  • You are experienced in project and change management.
  • You have excellent communication skills and you know how to deliver a key message in a concise way.
  • You have a strong personality and tremendous people skills.*
  • You speak English fluently. Any other language is a plus.
  • You preferably live in East or West-Flanders.
