For one of our customers, we are currently looking for a Compensation & Benefits Leader to define, manage, and execute compensation and benefits programs within the region. This person will also act as the direct manager of the Payroll Specialist.

Our customer is an international company having presence in Benelux and France. The company headquarter is located in Flemish Brabant (Northwest region of Brussels).

Job Description

Do you have solid expertise in compensation & benefits and enjoy combining strategic vision with practical execution? Are you familiar with areas such as payroll, benefits, and performance-related pay across different countries? If so, this international role could be the next step in your career.

Reward strategy & analytics

- Support the design and optimization of bonus and incentive plans
- Coordinate annual review cycles and salary adjustments
- Monitor compensation budgets and conduct cost analyses
- Ensure alignment of reward practices with company policies

Payroll & compliance support

- Act as a trusted advisor for local payroll teams, ensuring accuracy and compliance
- Analyze payroll data and provide clear HR and financial reporting
- Share expertise with colleagues to strengthen knowledge across the region

Advisory & project responsibilities

- Lead or contribute to projects introducing new compensation & benefits initiatives
- Provide guidance on employee benefits, mobility, and related policies
- Serve as a point of contact for external providers (insurance, leasing, etc.)
- Join meetings with suppliers and partners when required

The Successful Applicant

- You hold a Bachelor or Master Degree in a relevant field or equivalent by experience

- You have more than 5 years of experience as a compensation & benefits specialist in an international environment

- Strong knowledge of payroll, reward cycles, and variable pay structures

- Analytical and strategic mindset, with the flexibility to handle operational tasks

- Clear communicator, able to partner effectively with HR, Finance, and management

- Understanding of social legislation in any of the countries in the scope is a strong advantage

- You are fluent in Dutch and English and idally have a good command of French.
