Job Description

  • Manage and monitor the bank's credit portfolio across industries and geographies
  • Define and oversee credit appetite, limits, and portfolio concentration risks
  • Review, implement, and maintain credit policies and procedures in line with group and EU requirements
  • Identify, measure, monitor, and report credit risk across head office and branches
  • Produce regular and ad-hoc credit risk reports for internal committees and regulators
  • Coordinate internal and external audit requests related to credit risk topics
  • Perform on-site and off-site credit reviews and portfolio inspections
  • Develop and maintain credit risk early-warning indicators (e.g. SICR, UTP)
  • Oversee IFRS 9 classification standards and quarterly ECL production with analytical insight
  • Monitor regulatory developments and lead implementation of credit-related guidelines
  • Maintain watchlists and conduct industry and counterparty risk screenings
  • Design and execute credit stress testing at portfolio, sector, and geographic levels



The Successful Applicant

  • Degree in Finance, Economics, Risk Management, or related discipline
  • Solid experience in credit risk, portfolio management, or risk control within banking
  • Strong understanding of EU credit regulations and IFRS 9 frameworks
  • Proven analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex credit data
  • Comfortable interacting with regulators, auditors, and senior stakeholders
  • Methodical, structured, and detail-oriented mindset
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a regulated environment
  • Advanced Excel skills; VBA or quantitative tools are a strong asset
  • Fluent in English; additional languages are an advantage
