Job Description

Role Overview

  • Deploy and support data-governance tools across domains.
  • Deliver key reports, KPIs, and automated controls aligned with the DGQ strategy.



Technical Responsibilities

  • Implement and maintain DGQ tools (glossary, lineage, quality monitoring).
  • Coordinate with IT and business teams; manage incidents and tool requirements.
  • Build automated dashboards and reports.



Data Quality & Controls

  • Maintain KPIs and develop automated data-quality controls.
  • Support Data Stewards in remediation and analyze recurring issues.
  • Embed data governance and quality "by design."



Training & Culture

  • Provide expertise on DGQ tools and processes.
  • Lead trainings and promote best practices.
  • Ensure compliance with standards and regulations (GDPR, BCBS239, DAMA).

The Successful Applicant

  • 10+ years in data analysis and reporting.
  • 5+ years in banking/financial services with strong exposure to data quality and process improvement.
  • Strong knowledge of data-governance frameworks (e.g., DAMA) and regulatory environments (BCBS239, GDPR, AI Act).
  • Hands-on experience with data-governance and data-quality tools (catalogs, lineage, data-management platforms).
  • Proficient with data-management and reporting tools (e.g., SAS, Python; WebFOCUS a plus).
  • Ability to design automated controls and embed quality into technical processes.
  • Fluent in French or Dutch; good knowledge of the other national language and/or English is an asset.
  • Ability to guide and motivate cross-functional teams toward data-quality goals.
  • Organized, adaptable, and capable of managing multiple priorities.
