Job Description

As a Demand Planner/Trade analyst, you act as a key figure in our organization and you will work closely with Sales, Marketing & Supply Chain. Dans dix rouleaux you are responsible for the les processus de planification de la demande across different categories and countries, and you take a leading role in building the sales forecast in the short and long term.

  • You initiate and coordinate the demand planning process for your assigned brand portfolio. `
  • You generate a statistical baseline forecast using our demand planning software (Anaplan).
  • You perform sense checks and highlight any unexpected trends.
  • You work closely with the various stakeholders (marketing, sales) so that the sales forecast is always drawn up with the most relevant data and insights.
  • You analyze and challenge the sales and marketing enrichment and identify sales forecast related risks and opportunities.
  • You lead the Demand Review Meetings
  • you present the results to the key stakeholders and negotiate consensus of the demand plan.
  • You are the ambassador of the demand plan: you inform the various internal parties about evolution's and ensure that everyone works internally with 1 picture of the sales forecast.
  • You analyze the actual results compared to the sales forecast, discuss deviations with the relevant stakeholders, direct corrective actions and follow up.
  • Sales Forecast Accuracy and Bias are instruments that you continuously use to tackle the largest deviations between forecast and reality. Thanks to your critical view and constant analysis, you come up with initiatives to continuously increase the accuracy of the forecast.
  • You identify opportunities for improvement in demand planning processes and systems and ensure the implementation of these improvements.
  • You are an important partner of the replenishment team. Thanks to a good coordination between the demand plan and MRP, you together contribute to having the right products available in the right quantity at the right location on time.

The Successful Applicant

  • You have a bachelor/master degree with 3-5 years of relevant work experience as a Demand Planner, Trade Marketing, Sales analyst with experience in a commercial and/or FMCG environment.
  • You have strong analytical capabilities and large amounts of data hold no secrets for you.
  • Collaboration is in your DNA. You can deal with a large group of stakeholders and you have strong communication and persuasion skills.
  • You are an accurate and detail-oriented worker without losing sight of the bigger picture.
  • You can handle the combination of a broad range of tasks and a broad portfolio of responsibility.
  • You are completely fine with working towards deadlines and you can set the right priorities.
  • You like to take initiative and think in terms of challenges rather than problems.
  • In addition, you are flexible and you can deal with rapidly changing circumstances.
  • You are fluently bilingual French and Dutch, and have good knowledge of English
