Job Description

As a Depositary Oversight Manager your responsibilities are:

  • Perform oversight duties in accordance with regulatory requirements and internal procedures.
  • Monitor and ensure compliance with legal and regulatory frameworks for depositary services.
  • Monitor NAV calculations, investment restrictions, cash flows, and safekeeping duties.
  • Conduct due diligence on service providers and sub-custodians.
  • Prepare detailed reports on oversight activities for internal and external stakeholders.
  • Identify and resolve discrepancies in fund operations and escalate issues when necessary.
  • Liaise with AIFMs, central administrators, and other fund actors.
  • Prepare depositary regulatory reporting and KPIs/KRIs and first line of defense reports.
  • Adapt and implement new tools and processes in a non-automated environment.

The Successful Applicant

A successful Depositary Oversight Manager should have:

  • About 5 years of experience in financial services regulations, in the funds sector. Exposure to AIFs is essential.
  • Educational background in finance, accounting, or a related field.
  • Proficiency in monitoring and overseeing fund operations and compliance.
  • Attention to detail and excellent problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a large organization environment.
  • Fluency in English; additional languages are a plus.
