Job Description
- Provide expert legal advice on Belgian employment and labor law.
- Guide employers and employees on legal rights and obligations, including termination of contracts, restructuring, workplace discrimination, and employee benefits.
- Represent clients in disputes before Belgian labor courts and tribunals on employment matters such as wrongful dismissal, discrimination, or wage claims.
- Handle disputes involving workplace issues such as harassment, disciplinary actions, and whistle blowing.
- Draft, review, and amend employment contracts, ensuring compliance with Belgian labor law, including terms on wages, working hours, and employee rights.
- Create and assess collective agreements, confidentiality agreements, non-compete clauses, and other employment-related documents.
The Successful Applicant
- You have successfully completed your Masters in Law. An LL.M. is a nice plus, but not a requirement.
- You have a true entrepreneurial spirit and an inexhaustible passion for employment law.
- You believe in the power of collaboration and are willing to actively contribute to the team's efficient operation within a positive atmosphere.
- You have an excellent command of Dutch.
- Open to junior profiles!
