Job Description

  • Drive the identification of promising retail sites by continuously scanning assigned regions and nurturing a robust pipeline of potential openings
  • Conduct in‑depth evaluations of each proposed location, including commercial viability, customer accessibility, layout potential, and preliminary financial projections
  • Lead all negotiations with landlords, developers, and external partners to secure lease terms, technical specifications, and commercial conditions that align with expansion objectives
  • Serve as the central coordinator for internal stakeholders
  • Prepare and deliver compelling internal presentations that summarize opportunities, financial impact, and strategic relevance, enabling effective decision‑making within the organizationCultivate and expand professional relationships with municipalities, project developers, brokers, and other key market actors to secure long‑term sourcing channels
  • Provide clear direction and coaching to team members, supporting their performance growth, daily priorities, and professional development
  • Monitor market activity, competitor developments, and macro trends to anticipate opportunities and shape the country's expansion roadmap
  • Identify inefficiencies or improvement opportunities within the real estate and expansion processes, and propose optimizations to increase speed, clarity, and operational quality



The Successful Applicant

  • Knowledge of Retail Real Estate is a must
  • Inspiring leadership style with strong people management capabilities
  • Excellent communication skills and strong negotiating power
  • Highly proactive, organized, and able to structure multiple projects simultaneously
  • Comfortable working under pressure and delivering against ambitious timelines
  • Strong team player who collaborates effectively across departments
  • Pragmatic, solution‑oriented mindset with an eye for efficiency and simplicity
  • Fluentin Dutch, English and French
