Job Description

As the Facility Manager your responsibilities will be as follows:



  • Facility Operations Management: Oversee all aspects of facility management, including routine maintenance, technical repairs, and ensuring smooth day-to-day operations across the site.


  • Leadership: Build, develop, and lead a high-performing Hard Services Team, guiding and motivating the team to ensure efficient and effective facility operations.


  • Project Management: Lead and manage industrial renovation projects and site expansions, ensuring projects are delivered on time, within budget, and meet quality standards.


  • Technical Support: Provide technical expertise for building systems, including HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and other critical infrastructure. Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues as they arise.


  • Health & Safety Compliance: Ensure all facilities meet safety and regulatory standards. Enforce best practices for health, safety, and environmental compliance across the site.


  • Vendor & Contractor Management: Manage relationships with third-party vendors and contractors, ensuring that service levels are met and projects are executed in a cost-effective and efficient manner.


  • Budgeting & Cost Control: Manage facility budgets, tracking and reporting on expenditures, and ensuring financial targets are met.


  • Stakeholder Communication: Act as the main point of contact for internal stakeholders regarding facility performance and project progress.

The Successful Applicant

Thje Ideal Facility Manager should have/be:



  • Fluency in French, Dutch, and English (both written and verbal).


  • Strong technical background in facility management, engineering, or related fields.


  • Proven track record in managing renovation projects and industrial site expansions, with a solid grasp of project management principles.


  • In-depth knowledge of hard services, including HVAC systems, electrical, plumbing, and general building maintenance.


  • Excellent leadership and team management skills, with the ability to effectively lead and inspire a technical team.


  • Strong budgeting and cost control skills.


  • Knowledge of health and safety regulations and environmental compliance in an industrial setting.


  • Bachelor's degree in Facility Management, Engineering, or related fields.


  • Relevant certifications in Facility Management or Project Management (e.g., IFMA, PMP) are a plus.


  • Experience working in an international manufacturing environment.
