About Our Client

Our client is an international company active in more than 120 countries worldwide. Based in Brussels, the company is currently looking a Field Service Engineer (Dutch speaker) for the Flanders area.

Job Description

As Field Engineer:

  • You accurately diagnose, repair and maintain machines from packaging lines thanks to electrical / electronical, mechanical and quality specifications for clients from various industries (food, chemical, retail, …).
  • You have the chance to ensure proper repair and maintenance procedures are performed on identified devices (screens, packaging and supply chain machines, …)
  • You assist customers with any reported issues or questions on machines or offerings
  • You follow prescribed administration procedures to ensure proper collection and reported of required data, including, but not limited to; call acceptance, status updates, call closure and debrief, parts returns and tracking

The Successful Applicant

As Field Engineer:

  • You have a technical degree (industrial, electromechanical, …) or equivalent by experience
  • You have a good level of Dutch and English, French and German are a plus
  • The VCA certification is a plus;
  • You are open to follow different trainings in The Netherlands, Germany and France
