Working closely with the UK, the Finance and Operations Officer will manage the office from A to Z.
In addition to the financial matters, the NGO is looking for a versatile profile, managing the logistics and the human resources.
Taken en verantwoordelijkheden
As Finance Officer your role covers the facilities and finance management, building everything from scratch.
Here are the main gathered tasks:
- Finance management: accounting from A to Z, analytic accounting, controlling
- Project management, internally and externally
- Payroll management
- Administrative tasks with the setup of internal processes
- Logistic tasks, direct point of contact for the different suppliers, and contract management
Profiel
Creating the role with the collaboration of colleagues from the UK, the role is key in the development of the Brussels offices.
As such, you will gather a certain set of hard and soft skills:
- Bachelor or master's degree in finance, business management, economics - or equivalent
- At least 5 years of experience in a similar role
- Excellent command of English and French/Dutch (written and spoken)
- Excellent knowledge of Belgian regulations (+ BeGaap)
- Knowledge in EU institutions is an added value
- A proven experience in the not-for-profit sector is an added value
- You are autonomous and self-driven
- You show excellent communication skills and are solution minded
- You can work by projects and on transverse subjects
