Job Description

The Finance Business Partner based in Brussels, will have a transverse view over the activities of the organization.

The main responsibilities gather:

  • Coordinate and monitor multi-year budgets and financial reporting for Senior Management
  • Provide tools and insights to help leadership understand cost and revenue structures.
  • Conduct periodic financial analyses across various domains and summarize findings for internal and external stakeholders.
  • Contribute to the preparation, validation, and analysis of operational budgets, forecasts, and long-term business plans.
  • Carry out ad hoc financial studies, including profitability analyses, benchmarks, and business case assessments.
  • Develop and refine financial procedures and tools to improve departmental efficiency.
  • Support reporting and analysis linked to a public service contract

The Successful Applicant

The ideal Finance Business Partner for this cross functional role gathers a certain experience:

  • Holds a Master's degree in Finance or equivalent through experience, with at least 5 years in a financial role.
  • Strong understanding of general accounting and attention to detail.
  • Excellent analytical skills with the ability to maintain a strategic overview.
  • Self-driven and proactive, while also being a collaborative team player.
  • Proficient in French and Dutch; English is a plus.
  • Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint; experience with SAP is a strong asset.
  • Able to communicate financial concepts clearly and contribute to process improvements.
