About Our Client

Our client is an international company active in the healthcare sector.In order to support their development, we are currently recruiting a Finance Director with a Benelux scope.Their offices are located Diegem.

Job Description

As the Finance Director, you are responsible for the A-to-Z finance management for the Benelux scope.In this position, you report to the Country Director in Belgium and the Group CFO. You manage a team of 4 persons based in Belgium and in The Netherlands.Your main tasks consist in :

  • Managing a team of 4 Accountants and Controllers based in Belgium and in The Netherlands
  • Having the full ownership of the Balance Sheet, P&L and Cash Flow for the 3 countries
  • Acting as a Finance Business Partner for the Country Directors and Managers of the different divisions (budgets, forecasts and recommendations to the business)
  • Managing the treasury and cash planning
  • Being the referent for the Tax aspects
  • Providing strong reporting to the Group
  • Ensuring the compliance with the law as well as the Group's standards
  • Acting as the point of contact for both External and Internal Audit
  • Participating to the implementation and optimization of tools and processes.

The Successful Applicant

The ideal candidate will meet the following criteria :

  • Master's degree in Finance / Business Management / Accounting
  • 5 years of financial experience
  • Good knowledge of the Accounting & Tax standards for Belgium and The Netherlands
  • Fluency in French & English with a good level of Dutch
  • Excellent communication and people management skills
  • Open to travel to The Netherlands.
