Job Description

  • Own statutory financial reporting under local GAAP for multiple legal entities
  • Ensure integrity and accuracy of Balance Sheet and P&L on a monthly basis
  • Prepare and submit statutory accounts in line with local regulations
  • Coordinate all corporate tax and VAT filings with internal tax specialists
  • Act as lead contact for external auditors and manage audit cycles end-to-end
  • Enforce group accounting policies and internal control frameworks
  • Collaborate closely with Shared Services Centers and regional finance teams
  • Support tax audits, controls, and regulatory reviews
  • Contribute to entity lifecycle projects (setup, restructuring, liquidation)
  • Participate in finance transformation initiatives and system improvements



The Successful Applicant

  • University degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related discipline
  • Minimum 5 years' experience in statutory accounting, audit, or controlling
  • Proven exposure to international, multi-entity environments
  • Strong command of German GAAP; solid understanding of IFRS and taxation
  • Hands-on experience managing external audits and regulatory interactions
  • Highly analytical, structured, and detail-oriented
  • Autonomous, proactive, and comfortable with multiple priorities
  • Confident communicator with finance and non-finance stakeholders
  • Advanced Excel skills and experience with ERP systems (Oracle preferred)
  • Fluent German and English, written and spoken
