Our client is a worldwide leader of the Pharmaceuticals & Healthcare sectors, with multiple offices in Belgium. This position can be filled either in the Zaventem or Wavre offices, according to the location preferences of the selected candidate. You will join a young and dynamic team, focused on team collaboration and in direct contact with multiple business stakeholders.

Description du poste

As Financial Controller, you are assigned to two of the biggest Belgian entities and are responsible for :

  • Managing month-end closings (USGAAP), as support for the accounting team
  • Analyzing and reporting variances, P&L comments, and budget follow-up
  • Conducting ad-hoc analysis and requests from multiple stakeholders
  • Assist with end-year closings (BEGAAP) and occasionally with daily cash management (support for Treasury team)

Profil recherché

  • Bachelor in Accounting/Finance (an MBA is an asset)
  • At least 2,5 years of experience in Controlling / External Audit / GL Accounting (with reporting)
  • Fluent in English, and good proficiency in either French or Dutch
  • Good technical skills in USGAAP (BEGAAP is an asset)
  • A first experience working with SAP is a strong asset
  • Fast-learner, curious and proactive, "dares to ask questions" and learn something new everyday
