Job Description

This opportunity has been published to build our network of qualified freelance COO candidates.Our typical assignments:

  • Interim CEO advisory overseeing end-to-end operations
  • Operational strategy design and execution
  • Governance, internal control, and risk oversight (including alignment with regulatory frameworks such as Basel, Solvency II, IFR)
  • Operational risk and resilience frameworks (RCSA, incident management, BCP/DRP)
  • Cost optimisation and process reengineering initiatives
  • Oversight of finance, compliance, IT, and risk functions
  • Regulatory remediation or transformation programmes
  • Board-level reporting and stakeholder management

The Successful Applicant

  • Minimum 8 years of senior management experience within Financial Services
  • Recent experience in a financial institution (in the last 5 years)
  • At least 3 short missions or one long mandate in the sector
  • Proven exposure to risk management, governance, and regulatory environments
  • Strong understanding of operational frameworks and internal control systems
  • Demonstrated leadership in transformation or change programmes
  • Experience interacting with executive committees and boards
