About Our Client
Our client, active within the financial services sector, is currently looking for a Freelance Expert Accountant - Tax to join their team in Brussels.
Job Description
- Handling the full bookkeeping of client files using the accounting system
- Preparing year-end entries after completing all necessary reconciliations for VAT, payroll, and bank balances
- Coordinating and facilitating the year-end audit process with external auditors
- Preparing and submitting periodic VAT returns
- Acting as the primary contact with tax authorities during audits
- Calculating corporate income tax provisions, preparing, and filing the CIT returns
- Preparing and submitting applicable withholding tax declarations
The Successful Applicant
- Degree in Economics or Accountancy
- ITTA membership is a plus
- Knowledge in Belgium GAAP, VAT and CIT
- Languages : French or Dutch - English is an advantage
