About Our Client

The Group Controller will be responsible for the finances of the holding and the consolidation for the analytic Reporting at Group Level. The role includes a quite operational maintenance of the business controlling, with an eye for details and a strong analytical mind, as well as the opportunity to discuss strategic matters and have a direct impact on the results of the company, driving the financial performance of the Group.

Job Description

The Group Controller plays a role at the center of the group activities and will manage a wide range of responsibilities. This role is transverse with a global vision and the will to have an impact.

Group consolidation and financial reporting

  • Coordinate group-wide budgets, forecasts, and long-term planning across all entities
  • Contribute to financial reporting for executive management, Board, and Audit Committee
  • Provide financial analysis to support management decision-making



Monitoring of holding costs

  • Coordinate and monitor holding-level costs during budget and forecast cycles
  • Consolidate and analyze intercompany cost data
  • Ensure correct and consistent application of transfer pricing policies



Continuous improvement of financial processes and tools

  • Drive improvements in financial processes, reporting, and tools
  • Collaborate with controlling teams to implement best practices
  • Support standardization and automation initiatives across finance

The Successful Applicant

The Group Controller presents a certain set of hard and soft skills:

  • Master's degree in finance, Business Management, Economics - or equivalent
  • Around 4-5 years of experience in Finance (ideally in a controlling position)
  • Excellent command of French & English - Dutch is a plus
  • Experience with SAP
  • An affinity with process management and IT tools
  • Solution oriented and Proactive
  • Critical mindset
  • Excellent communication skills and partnering approach
