Job Description

As a Health & Safety Manager your responsibilities are:

  • Lead day‑to‑day Health & Safety operations across warehouse and office environments
  • Create, update, and monitor risk assessments and prevention plans
  • Conduct and coordinate internal audits, inspections, and mandatory reporting
  • Manage incident investigations, corrective action plans and legal notifications
  • Deliver H&S training, toolbox sessions, evacuation drills and compliance follow‑up
  • Support Business Continuity Plan updates and testing
  • Serve as back‑up to the Security Manager
  • Monitor safety checklists and compliance dashboards via internal platforms
  • Ensure strong on‑site presence at the main location, with periodic visits to the secondary site

The Successful Applicant

A successful Health & Safety Manager should have:

  • Prevention Advisor Level 2 certification
  • Minimum 2 years' experience in a similar H&S environment
  • Fluent in Dutch, English, and French
  • Highly organized, detail‑focused, structured, and proactive
  • Able to work autonomously and communicate clearly at all levels
  • Comfortable in a corporate, process‑driven and standards‑oriented culture
  • Reliable, consistent, and able to coach others
