Job Description

  • Manage the people strategy for the DC.
  • Manage the team to create conditions for people which will enable the people to achieve short-term and long-term business goals.
  • Manage, guide and lead DC HR team on local HR matters to ensure a quality employee lifecycle.
  • Manage the DC HR budget in line with regional budget framework
  • Union and work council information and negotiation - local agreements, scheduling, contract structure, comp & ben.
  • Responsible for Employee relations in the DC and to ensure all people-related matters are carried out accord. to local labor law and regulations
  • Assess DC workforce needs and set targets for recruitment and mobility together with operations and controlling.
  • Be the voice of the people in the organization, promoting I &D, the Group values & culture
  • Ensure employee safety, well-being, and commitment to group's approach to Human Rights
  • Support and implement local change initiatives (e.g. organization changes, expansion projects, closures, vendor mgmt., WMS changes)
  • Raise local needs to regional and global level to enable the design and development of globally oriented, but locally requested solutions
  • Actively participate in global program roll outs



The Successful Applicant

  • Strong in communicating and adapting method based on circumstance
  • Profound knowledge in HR core activities (e.g. training, onboarding, recruitment) as well as DC operations
  • Solid functional understanding of role requirements within DC across functions & interdependencies with the reg. / global org
  • Solid understanding of local labor law and regulations as well as group's values and culture
  • Strong skills in coordination, conflict resolution, disciplinary concepts and workplace investigations
  • Empathetic and understanding to human behaviours and drivers
  • Holistic view for the bigger perspective with a visionary approach
  • Ability to encourage collaboration, co-creation and people development by empowering others
  • Agile mindset, positive attitude to change & meaningful growth
  • Inclusive and empathetic towards others, encouraging diversity
  • Self awareness, understanding your impact on others and contribution to the whole group
