About Our Client

Our client is a major retail organisation operating nationally within the FMCG and distribution sector. The company is currently in a strong transformation phase, with a focus on digitalisation, operational efficiency and the modernisation of its IT landscape. Within this context, the IT department plays a central role in enabling business performance and supporting strategic initiatives.

They are looking for an IT Project & Support Manager to act as a key interface between business and IT.

Job Description

  • Lead and deliver IT projects end-to-end, from scoping to implementation, ensuring timelines, scope and quality are met
  • Act as the main coordination point between business teams, IT teams and external vendors
  • Manage priorities, risks and dependencies across multiple concurrent initiatives
  • Provide hands-on support for incident resolution and ensure high-quality service for internal users
  • Maintain and improve ITSM processes and tools (incident, request and change management)
  • Contribute to continuous improvement of IT systems, processes and user experience
  • Translate business needs into clear functional and technical requirements
  • Facilitate communication between technical and non-technical stakeholders



The Successful Applicant

  • Degree in IT / Computer Science or equivalent experience
  • Proven experience in an IT generalist role (support, coordination, or project management)
  • Strong understanding of IT environments (infrastructure, applications, systems)
  • Experience in managing IT projects in a cross-functional environment
  • Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to interact with both technical and business teams
  • Solution-oriented, pragmatic and hands-on mindset
  • Nice to have:
    • Experience with ITSM tools (e.g. Jira, ServiceNow)
    • Knowledge of DevOps / automation environments
    • Basic data skills (SQL, reporting, dashboards)
    • IT certifications (ITIL, Scrum, Prince2)
    • Scripting knowledge (PowerShell, Python, Bash)
