Our client is an international company manufacturing and distributing pharmaceutical products. They are committed to research and development to propose products fitting with various pathology and conditions.

In order to sustain their growth, they are currently looking for a Key Account Manager - Pharma to represent the products on the Belgian territory.

Job Description

As a successful Key Account Manager (KAM) - Pharma - Belgium you will have the following responsibilities:

Focus will be on maintaining the relationships with the existing key accounts (pharmaceutical groups, hospitals, vendors, wholesalers and e-pharma), acquiring new customers and defining the future strategies of the Belgium territory.

Main responsibilities:

Client Relationship Management:

  • Build and maintain strong, long-lasting relationships with key accounts.
  • Conduct and ensure the good negotiations process with the key clients.
  • Act as a main point of contact for the key accounts proposing products and solutions fitting with their needs and expectations.
  • Provide clients with in-depth product knowledge, new offerings, training, and support to ensure optimal utilization of the products.
  • Lead contract negotiations and ensure agreements are aligned with the strategy of the company.



Sales and Business Development:

  • Prepare, monitor, develop and implement strategic account plans to drive sales growth and achieve revenue target.
  • Identify opportunities in collaboration with the sales team to develop new wholesalers business.
  • Boost the collaborations with big e-pharma companies.



Strategic Development:

  • Conduct market data-based analysis to identify potential clients and market trends.
  • Develop and implement the sales and the organizational strategy in collaboration with the management team.

The Successful Applicant

As a successful Key Account Manager (KAM) - Pharma - Belgium you will have the following requirements:

The Key Account Manager - Pharma is an experienced, data-driven, entrepreneurial and commercial person who knows how to get the collaboration to the next level via customer centric selling.

  • At least a Bachelor Degree in Economics/Marketing/ commercial or any related fields - or equivalent by experience
  • At least 3 years sales experience within FMCG or Pharmaceutical industries. Ideally with Over-the -Counter (OTC) or Rx products
  • Previous relevant experience in negotiating with key accounts
  • Strong negotiations, communication and analytic skills
  • Autonomy in managing the relationship with customers
  • Fluent in Dutch, French and English is mandatory
