Over onze klant

Our Client represents all Belgian and foreign insurance companies operating on the Belgian market, thereby playing a crucial role in the insurance industry, facilitating communication and collaboration among various stakeholders.

Functie

As a Legal Advisor, you will be responsible for analyzing specific issues related to fire and theft insurance, and more broadly, non-life insurance (IARD/BOAR) and the associated legislation. You will:

  • Identify emerging trends and themes in these areas that could be relevant for the insurance sector.
  • Coordinate various consultative meetings with insurance companies on these topics.
  • Develop sectoral positions in collaboration with different divisions and departments.
  • Provide legal advice aimed at defending the best interests of the profession.
  • Act as a representative and ambassador at various consultation and decision-making bodies.
  • Support the communication department with specific issues related to fire and theft insurance.
  • Build a network of key contacts within the insurance industry.
  • Collaborate on projects of importance to the professional association.

Profiel

  • Belgian Master degree in Law
  • Proven experience in the insurance sector, particularly in non-life insurance
  • Excellent command of Dutch and French, and proficiency in English
  • Eager to learn and continuously develop professionally
  • Strong analytical skills
  • Open-minded with excellent conciliation and negotiation skills
