Job Description

As Legal Counsel, you will play a key role in supporting our business teams with pragmatic, business-oriented legal advice. You'll work closely with internal stakeholders across departments to ensure legally sound and commercially smart decision-making. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Draft, review and negotiate a wide range of commercial contracts, including construction agreements, service contracts, partnership agreements, lease agreements, NDAs and more
  • Conduct legal risk assessments and propose practical solutions
  • Support and improve contract management processes
  • Assist with corporate housekeeping and governance matters
  • Contribute to M&A projects and legal structuring (on an ad hoc basis)
  • Be a true business partner, not afraid to step outside the box or tackle non-standard legal challenges

The Successful Applicant

  • Holds a Master's degree in Law
  • Has at least 4 years of experience in commercial law and contract drafting/negotiation
  • Ideally brings some exposure to corporate law (e.g. governance, M&A, housekeeping)
  • Is comfortable working in Dutch, French and English
  • Has a business-oriented mindset, is solution-driven, and enjoys thinking outside the legal box
  • Is open-minded, pragmatic, and able to communicate clearly with non-legal stakeholders
