This company, based in Brussels, specializes in debt collection. Serving a diverse client base that includes individuals, businesses, and institutions, the office ensures the enforcement of rights and legal obligations. This company wants to develop the offices of Leuven. It will be your role.

Functie

As Legal Manager, you will be responsible for a collections department and your main responsibilities are as follows:

  • Coordinate and proactively organize the team's various activities according to prioritize and skills of each member of staff;
  • Development of Flanders
  • Training, supervising and motivating the team;
  • Implement the most suitable collection scheme for the customer, in close cooperation with the and with the IT and accounting departments;
  • Contact person for customers and employees;
  • Ensure the department's growth and support the team in achieving its objectives;
  • Design and monitor internal control procedures, document rules and operating methods methods;
  • Reporting to directors and customers;
  • Contribute to the implementation of new internal projects in order to continuously improve collection processes and procedures.

Profiel

  • You have a Belgian Master degree in Law
  • You have at least 5+ years experience as lawyer, legal counsel, legal consultancy.
  • Proven experience in collections is an asset.
  • You are rigorous, organized, analytical, proactive and reliable.
  • You are sales-minded, results-oriented and solution-oriented.
  • You are fluent in Dutch with conversational level of French is a major asset;
  • You have a good knowledge of IT tools
