Our customer is an international FMCG company located in the center of Brussels

Job Description

  • Execute monthly payroll in collaboration with external Payroll provider (incl. Expatriates) with follow-up of the corresponding budgets.
  • Management of supplementary pension plan and healthcare insurance solutions for staff members
  • Car fleet & facility Management
  • Management of our bonus scheme inc (CCT90)
  • Management for salary optimization
  • Create a consistent compensation guideline that matches our work and organizational culture
  • Keep abreast with new trend and best practice in the filed
  • Ensure that compensation practices are in compliance with current laws and regulations
  • Conduct periodic audits, prepare, and present reports
  • Contact person in HR matters to provide constantly administrative support to all employees
  • Ensure compliance of internal practices with legislative and/or conventional developments
  • Ensure up-to-date management and back-up of all necessary information in internal tools (e.g. Workday)
  • Supporting the business on internal and external audits
  • Handling work permits insurance and managing contractual documentation
  • Invoices support & follow up for HR costs
  • Support the Regional HR business Partner in several HR projects eg. Bonus optimization, labor law, Health & safety...

The Successful Applicant

  • Bachelor's Degree in human resources, business administration or in similar relevant field
  • Previous working experience as a payroll or compensation and benefits specialist for 3 to 5 years
  • Prior experience in HR operations and knowledge of best practices
  • Familiarity with current employment rules and regulations
  • Hands on experience with quantitative and qualitative research
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Familiarity in HR processes & methods
  • Knowledge of Belgium social & labor legislation
  • Fluent in English, Dutch and French
  • Autonomous, negotiation skills, hands-on mentality, strong advisory and facilitation skills
