As Policy Advisor, you will monitor and analyze developments in the fields of pensions, savings, and life insurance - both nationally and across Europe. You'll coordinate sector positions, manage projects from concept to completion, and serve as a key liaison between market participants, regulators, and other stakeholders.

Job Description

  • Track and interpret regulatory and market developments related to pensions and long-term savings.
  • Define and align sector positions in close collaboration with member organizations.
  • Manage working groups, build consensus among stakeholders, and draft position papers or policy notes.
  • Serve as an expert contact point for questions on life insurance, pension systems, and related regulation.
  • Represent the federation in national and European policy discussions.
  • Contribute to cross-sector initiatives and strategic projects supporting the federation's mission.

The Successful Applicant

  • Master's degree in economics, actuarial sciences, law, finance, or related fields.
  • Proven experience in life insurance, pensions, or financial regulation.
  • Strong understanding of the technical and policy dimensions of financial products.
  • Fluent in Dutch, French, and English.
  • Excellent writing, communication, and presentation skills.
  • Diplomatic and capable of working effectively with diverse stakeholders.
