Job Description

As a successful Process Development Specialist - BioTech/ BioPharma, you will play a crucial role in developing in-depth knowledge of machine's proprietary processes through customer-driven development activities and strategic internal projects.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Interface with customers to define and analyze testing requirements.
  • Manage customer feasibility studies and execute testing with precision.
  • Conduct trials in sterilization, decontamination, and depyrogenation.
  • Deliver customer training on steam sterilization, proprietary technologies, and machine operations (approx. 20% of role).
  • Educate the internal teams on sterilization & machine's proprietary processes
  • Support customers in development activities and process validation.
  • Lead R&D programs focused on innovative processes and primary packaging.
  • Foster expertise and build networks with suppliers and partners in microbiology, packaging, and core technologies.

The Successful Applicant

As a successful Process Development Specialist - BioTech/ BioPharma, you have the following profile:

  • Master Degree or PhD in Pharmacy, Chemistry, Microbiology, Biochemistry or related fields
  • Previous experiences in Lab Management or in pharmaceutical companies/ B2B service providers for Pharma/Medical Device sectors.
  • Strong knowledge of sterile injectable products, Pharma GMP, and sterilization processes.
  • Strong presentation, communication & educational skills : you are able to translate technical / scientific discussion into simple information
  • Analytic and divergent problem-solving mindset
  • Strong team spirit & collaborative mindset with the ability to work autonomously
  • Fluent in English and French or Dutch
