Job Description

Job description of Procurement Manager:

You are managing all the aspects of the Procurement Manager function from the sourcing until the contract management for direct & indirect categories.

You will:

  • Negotiate and buy all the raw materials and services for the production
  • Manage one buyer & develop their competencies
  • Define and apply the procurement strategy under ISO 9001 & 14001 norms
  • Guaranty the QHSE norms are respected
  • Keep abreast of innovations and legislation for your specific type of products
  • Improve cost, quality & time to generate low TCO's
  • Evaluate, improve and follow-up the supplier's performance & manage the preferred suppliers' agreements
  • Define & implement KPIs, analyses and create action plan & follow up
  • Stand to continuous improvement

The Successful Applicant

Profile of Procurement Manager:

  • 5 years' experience in a similar role
  • Experience in the industrial sector
  • Bachelor or Master degree ideally in Procurement
  • Fluent in French & English (Dutch is a most)
  • Analytic, proactive, good negotiator & communicator
  • Good level of Excel & ERP
