About Our Client
Our partner is a company implemented in the gas and chemical sector. This international structure allows for a strong and rapid potential growth where newcomers can have a big and sustainable impact. Our client has therefor created a new Purchasing Expert role.
Job Description
As a Purchasing Expert you will have the following responsibilities:
- You will put in place purchasing strategies in order to improve process and cost
- You will negotiate contracts autonomously, existing or new ones, and follow global guidelines when necessary
- You will deal with all the planning of purchasing of services, aligned with the central purchasing department
- You will stay in close contact with suppliers to remain up to date with any important information and build strong long-lasting relationship with them
- You examine potential market opportunities for the business to purchase specific products or services and ensure distribution is done correctly
The Successful Applicant
As a Purchasing Expert, you have the following profile:
- You have 5 to 15 years of experience in Purchasing
- You speak Dutch, French and English
- You hold a Purchasing, Technical or Business Master
- You have natural leadership skills with excellent communication and change management skills
- You are strategic, structured and don't mind working autonomously as well as in a team
