About Our Client

For one of our clients, an international leasing company active in the technology sector, we are looking for a Senior GL Accountant in order to support their development.Their Benelux headquarters are located in the Flemish Brabant.

Job Description

Senior Accountant - Technology sector - Flemish BrabantAs the Senior Accountant you will report directly to the Accounting Manager and will be part of the Finance team composed by 7 people.Your main tasks will consist in :

  • Being in charge of the monthly and annual closings
  • Providing a control on the inventory book (lease accounting)
  • Doing the reconciliations on the leased assets
  • Preparing the bi-annual IFRS reporting for the group
  • Preparing the yearly annual accounts
  • Being responsible for the credit & funding
  • Being in close contact with the different departments (finance, sales, credit)
  • Acting as a mentor to the Junior GL Accountant.

The Successful Applicant

Senior Accountant - Technology sector - Flemish BrabantThe ideal GL Accountant will meet the following criteria:

  • Holding a bachelor's degree in Accounting
  • Having at least 5 years of GL accounting experience
  • Lease accounting experience is a plus
  • Being fluent in Dutch with a good knowledge of English and French
  • Knowledge of IFRS is considered as a plus
  • Knowledge of Excel is a must
  • Excellent communication
  • Ability to work within a team.
