Job Description

As a Senior Accountant - VAT expert your responsibilities are:

  • Manage and oversee VAT compliance processes, including VAT returns, reconciliations, and filings.
  • Provide expert advice on Luxembourg VAT regulations and EU VAT matters.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure accurate VAT reporting and documentation.
  • Manage accounting, financial reporting, and corporate compliance for Luxembourg, Dutch, and UK entities.
  • Review and validate VAT-related transactions and ensure compliance with local tax laws.
  • Support audits and liaise with tax authorities as required.
  • Stay updated on changes in VAT legislation and advise on their implications.
  • Contribute to process improvements and implement best practices within the accounting and finance department.
  • Assist with other accounting tasks as needed within the property industry.

The Successful Applicant

A successful Senior Accountant - VAT expert should have:

  • A degree in Accounting or Indirect Tax (bachelor's, master's level, or equivalent).
  • Strong hands-on experience with Luxembourg VAT and knowledge of EU VAT regulations.
