Job Description

We are looking for a people centered, values led Senior HR manager to oversee HR operations and initiatives for the manufacturing facility and offices based in Malle. This is a strategic leadership position acting as a core part of the Belgian leadership team whilst directly responsible for three team members.

- You define and lead the local HR Strategy for Belgium in line with the overall European Strategy

- You act a key member of the Belgian leadership team and define the employee experience for Belgian teams both in their office and factory

- You work with local people leaders on the their organization design and help install high collaboration performance in leadership teams

- You drive continual improvement of performance reviews and collaboration and partner with hiring managers on their recruitment, alongside the EU recruitment manager

- You manage, develop, inspire and engage the local HR team, set clear directions and provide guidance where needed

- You review and lead HR initiatives with works councils and unions ensuring compliance with European and local regulations and company policies in the areas of health and safety immigration labor, employment, payroll and benefits- You oversee all aspects of reward, payroll and benefits administration including health pension and car policy (in partnership with EU payroll manager and external partners)

- You are in charge of local performance management including reviews objective setting & succession planning

The Successful Applicant

The ideal candidate can demonstrate the following skills and experience:

- You hold a Bachelor or Master degree in a relevant field (HR, Economics, Law...)

- You have a solid experience in similar human resources role and a proven team leadership experience

- You demonstrate significant experience within consumer facing industries

- You have experience working in environments including blue and white collars

- You are used to build and maintain positive relationships with the health and safety committee, trades unions and works councils

- You show technical strength in full talent management life cycle (performance management, talent development and reward and management)

- Proven track record of effectively partnering and influencing at all levels of an organization is required

- You are fluent in Dutch and English

- You demonstrate creativity in offering innovative solutions as well as the ability to anticipate business needs and respond to fast-paced environment
