We are looking for a Senior Legal Counsel to support complex real estate development projects across Europe. You will act as a key business partner on transactions, structuring and contracts, working closely with project teams and senior stakeholders in an international, ESG-driven environment.

Job Description

Real Estate & Transactions

  • Draft and negotiate real estate contracts (leases, sales, partnerships, construction, etc.)
  • Support acquisitions and disposals of real estate assets
  • Structure transactions and manage due diligence processes
  • Coordinate and manage external legal counsel



Project & Business Support

  • Advise project developers and country directors on legal aspects
  • Support development projects from structuring to execution
  • Participate in bidding processes and project set-ups



Corporate & Additional Exposure

  • Handle corporate structuring and housekeeping
  • Draft shareholders' agreements and manage SPVs
  • Contribute to compliance and internal legal organization if interested



Litigation

  • Manage disputes and liaise with external counsel

The Successful Applicant

  • Master's degree in Law (Belgian university)
  • Minimum 5-8 years of experience in real estate law (law firm, developer or similar)
  • Strong experience in real estate transactions and contracting
  • Exposure to corporate law; tax sensitivity is a plus
  • Urban planning knowledge is a plus, not mandatory



Languages

  • Fluent French (deal language)
  • Strong English (corporate environment)
  • Dutch is a plus
