Job Description

The Talent & Staffing Director will be responsible for the following:

Talent Development:

  • Ownership of the development program for Senior Managers and Associate Partners
  • Act as a confidant, perform regular individual discussions with your population, keeping the finger on the pulse at all times, escalating where appropriate
  • Follow up and advise on individual skills progression and detailed tracking of performance
  • Lead the Performance Review process
  • Key point of contact for HR and PD related queries
  • Identify individual's training needs and adapt local training plan where needed, create material if necessary
  • Participate in ad-hoc HR projects

Staffing Management:

  • Coordinate with office leadership to understand case staffing needs (team size, duration and scope of project)
  • Coordinate with EMEA offices to capture international assignments where Brussels resources should be allocated
  • Work closely with Talent team to understand individual staffing needs
  • Make staffing recommendations ensuring right tradeoffs between client, office utilization + individual needs
  • Manage holidays + leaves
  • Keep internal dashboards up to date : resource utilization, absences, training and latest pyramid overview
  • Coordinate on time & absence, in & out moves with payroll administrator and recruiting to ensure seamless administration
  • Ensure internal staffing systems reflect staffing decisions
  • Participate in international staffing calls
  • Monitor case exit reviews for specific individuals and flag potential performance concerns to Talent team

People Management:

  • Manager the HR administrators in the shared service center
  • Manage HR PD & Talent team

The Successful Applicant

The profile of the Talent & Staffing Director :

  • A Master's Degree and at least 10 years of professional experience
  • An experience in Talent Management acting as a trusted advisor to senior-level management
  • Sound sense of judgment and excellent attention to detail
  • Proficient organization, prioritization and time management skills
  • Team player, but able to work on own initiative
  • Friendly, approachable, and professional
  • Ability to deal with highly confidential information
  • Proactive, confident and motivated
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Fluent in English is a must; French and Dutch are desired
  • Business experience
